Discrepancies In The Numbering of the Psalms

This illustration shows why the Hebrew psalter has one number ahead of the Greek from psalm 10 to 147. Most Catholic bibles (even the New Vulgate) follow the numbering of the Hebrew but where the discrepancy occurs, the numbering of the Septuagint and Vulgate are indicated either in the margins or in a parenthesis.
